Difference from a regular black Ultra Limited is the blue striping and the tank badges. Not sure of other differences. Have one in the club and we have compared the 2.
That shows how much I know! Hell I thought most Shriner bikes were white and the riders wear those funny looking hats that looks ethnic.
Is that "hat" picture accurate as to the marking of what makes a bike "Shrine" ....I just looked at the letter from Eagle as to my final payment and it has a "Shrine" after Ultra Limited. But I don't see any emblems (decals) on the tank....!
All responses are prety much correct. Fact is all Special Edition bikes are called Shriner Editions because the "Shriner Edition" was the first bike HD made and gave a discount on for Shriners whom you have seen in parades etc. They are typically Birch White with a special tank decal. Later as HD decided to give law enforcement a discount these bikes were dark blue or dark blue and light blue two tone. After 911 HD began the firefighter edition. All for simplicity purposes are referred to as Shriner editions.Of course for the past few years the Peace Officer has been offered in vivid black. You could also get concord purple if you were a member of the house of JESTERS (the official clowns of the Shriners).Thee bikes now offered in the program can be found on HDs website under special editions which include the ROAD KING,ULTRA CLASSIC,HERITAGE SOFTAIL CLASSIC AND FATBOY.If yours is black, it is a "PEACE OFFICER" SPECIAL EDITION. All purchased new must have the buyers badge number ID card and a letter of proof from the head of the organization to make the purchase. Anyone can purchase one used. Hope this clears it up.
I know this is an old thread and apologize but I have an 06 ultra classic Shriners Edition and it's in black but I don't see anything that says it's a Shriners bike other than through the vin. It's had a stage 4 kit with tons of other work done to it like Baker manual tensioner, taller handlebars, braided steel lines, custom exhaust, ect. Was wondering where there might be something to identify what it was used for?

I had 2009 Ultra I bought new, that was a police Shriners Edition. Only thing different was the tank badge and it had blue pinstripes. I dont think you could get the regular black ultra with blue color pinstripes. Other than that, same motorcycle. Ride safe.😀
