I'm not sure I've heard the rush pipes ,But these sound alot like rhineharts. They are pretty mellow when you level out but have a deep bass sound when you get in the throttle.I ride almost every day possible in AR. and do alot of 300 to 400 mile runs.they don't make my head roar like the early screaming eagles did thatI replaced with these.

My buddy has reinheart true duals. sound like jack hammers next to me. he has been trying to let me try a set of his reinheart. The answer is NO! I'm not a reinheart fan.
How much did you notise the power change.

Themost noticable change was freeway riding.I do have stage 1 but before the STs 75 to 1?? was kinda slow getting there.but it's just a touch of the throttle now.THe best way I know how to describe it is,my riding buddy just got him an 08 classic, hehad the dealer install stage1,true duals, remapp before he ever picked it up.I can out pull him on the open road.I don't ride 2up but I bet you could really tell a difference there.

Cardboard, try American Classic Motors on E-bay. Just picked up a set of Super Trapp Super Meg 2-1's for $534.95 shipped for an '07. Do a search for "SUPERTRAPP 2-INTO-1 EXHAUST PIPE 07-08 HARLEY TOURING" on e-bayto findthe auction. They acceptedmybest offer of $505. Make 'em a lower offer and see if they accept.

Have had the SuperTrapps installed for two days now and love 'em. Have 17 discs in right now, and will start to add discs to see what happens. Bike runs faster, smoother and quieter at all speeds compared to the previous true duals. Sorry, don't have an audio file for the pipe sound.
Can I ask how long it took to git yer pipes. I ordered em 3 days ago and ain't even got a tracking number yet. I think it said 7-10days for shippin. Got any ideas. Thanks !

I've got about 5000 miles on my Rush slip-ons and they will be coming off soon. They have a "tinny" rattle that I don't care for. Think I'll try some V&H next.

Are you sure the rattle is in the muffler, tried taking the baffel out and lookin at it or calling Supertrapp and asking them about it.
You know i been riding since 64, have never cared for V&H pipes unless it was the propipe.

Just a thought. So many ask what performance improvement did you notice with this or that modification. I am of the belief you can't feel a power increase from a lone mod, such as slip-on mufflers or an a/c. So my method of testing is to take a measured distance (mine is from the land fill sign to the first "curve" sign near my home) and at 50 mph in 5th gear go to WOT. I check my speed at that "curve" sign. Obviously I want to check ending speed before I make a mod and then right after. Not very scientific but it works for me.

If you have stock pipes with catlyst converters in them and git some pipes that are after market, I think you can feel the extra power and see what it does on top end to know if it had any better performance.
