On the back of the license plate.
"The license plate?"
Yes.

Yes, on the back.
"There's nothing there."
Yes there is, it's there. If you'll let me get off the bike I'll be happy to get it for you.

Okay, I'll wait. :::sigh..:::
Nice... I had a similar set up on my last SG... I had 2 into 1 exhaust and a small air horn mounted under the left bag with extentions under the bags... how much trouble would i get into if i gave him a toot while he was looking for the hide-a-key!!!

So Rusty - why am I hitting the floorboard supports before the floorboard?

That's nothing. You should see the goldwing!

Going to add some extensions which will make the board stick further out (wider) which *SHOULD* cause the boards to hit before the supports.

Least, that is my thought anyway... Had the same problem on my 08 FLHTCU (105th Anniv 'Duracell Bike')

Default Saddlebag Bottoms

Everyone is always so careful when we take off are saddlebags so I came up with this little trick. I took some painter tape and trimed out around bottom of bags then I painted the bottoms with trunk paint its rubberized ,if you do it carefully you can not see it at all when the saddlebags are on the bike .Hope that this helps out someone

Thank you! But this hard parts before soft parts is a big problem. Ideas?

I got by with only 1/2" angle iron. You might have to go bigger. Also if your boards fold up easily it's going to allow to supports to hit sooner. Maybe tighten up the bolts to the boards.

Best suggestion is a simple angle iron "skid Plate" eh?

I can do that. Going to wear out quickly though.

I spoke with one of our Motor Troopers today at the stealer. Said don't lean the bike so far, I said that's not an option, he said I know.

Default tour pack mount

if youve got exposed studs in your garage or shed you can mount it up for under 10 bucks. Just grab some 3/8 allthread, some 5/8 od clear tubing and nuts and washers. whole project took me an hour including the trip to the hardware store space your rods 4 3/4" apart and about 2" from the wall, cant get much more simple and beats the 200 moco wants for a rack
