Check with DAWG. I believe it was him that adapted a set of bars to his 08. He even posted pics of it with step by step instructions. If it wasn't Dawg, then he will know how to do it. That guy is a geniuss. I know there was a thread on it not to long ago cuz I read it and seen all the pics. Sorry I couldn't help you but atleast I got you pointed in a forward direction.
Ron....I'm also wanting to put the Road King High Bars on my 2008 Road King.
Please keep us informed on how your project progresses. BTW...were you able to find dawg's write up on his 2008 handlebar change? I did find this post from dawg on the subject: https://www.hdforums.com/m_2498890/tm.htm but would like to find his more detailed description of how he did it. If you have this information, I would appreciate itif you could send it to me. Thanks in advance. Hope your handlebar change goes well

I've been interested in what the high bars look like, but looking in the 08 Catalog the ones I see supposedly don't go on anything other than '96-01 FLHRs ????
I noticed the same thing in the 2008 catalog..96-01..but I had these Road King high bars on my 2002 Road King without any problems and without changing cables. There are several people on this forum that also have them on later model Road Kings. I plan to put them on my 2008 Road King following dawg's modifications: https://www.hdforums.com/m_2498890/tm.htm
