08 FLHRC engine guard diameter
I don't know if I'm going crazy or what. I bought the 360 highway peg mounts for my 2008 Road King Classic. They say they're for 1-1/4" engine guards. Well, they appear to be too small. I measured the engine guards on my bike and according to my calculations they're 1-1/2". But all the mounts I've found are for 1-1/4" guards. Has anyone else ran into this? Where can I get mounts for 1-1/2" guards? Did Harley just change the diameter of their guards?
Maybe I could use a longer bolt, but the clamp still won't be closed all the way. I thought this one would be easy

I installed the Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting KIt 360 deg. 50832-07. No problems with the fitment. Love em.

Also mounted on FLHRC. Clamps close all the way, did not have any difficluty with the installation. Toughest part is to install level.
