I am pumped! Getting an '08 RK! Will sign the papers on Monday. Bike will be in around the middle of April. Color - crimson red sunglo. Have a littleextra cash to dosome upgrades now to take advantage of the 20% parts discount being offered. I do plan on changing the pipes (probably TD Rineharts),adding a fuel management system (probably a SERT) and having it dynoed. I will add the chrome later. My question is with the SE 103 stage I vs stage II.I see that the difference is the cam.My question iswill I notice a difference with stage II? It would be nice but I can't afford the110 kit. Or, maybe the 103 is not that different from stock, other than the air box, of course. I am not planning on racing. It would just be nice to have that littleextra umph when merging or passing. Any comments?
More power is always cool but its a desease what ever you get youll wish you had more at 50 years old i have thank godfinaly beenable to accept most what ever ime driving as is. i am 6 4 375lbs
have a 98 RK and just got a 06 RG and i have no problem passing or merging. I dont care What it is bump up the horse power and you create other problems rear tire wear heat.
If you got to do it i dont blame you i spend most my money on dress up goodies.
it's a disease but if you got to have it you got to have it----- if the warranty is important to you stick with SE parts and have the warranty in writing--if not check out the major players (Zippers, S&S, HQs, GMR) the 103 or 107 kits seems to be the way to go these days.
I had to have more motor -- the stock bike was such a slug --- now that I have a 103 I want a 113--it never ends.
Good luck with what ever you do and always get parts that compliment each other

I've had my SG 2 weeks. Did the Rineharts, sert, download, passenger backrest, high performance baffles, and taking it in for paint Monday! I am DONE!!!!!
I agree with OldPhat, pipes, (true duals are my favorite)high flow air cleaner kit, race tuner with a custom map ortime on a dyno. You can alway go up from there.
Thanks for the wise counsel. Your comments ring true.I think I will just dothe air box, pipes and fuel mgt, ride it for a year and re-evaluate. Now, on to the chrome......................
