If you are going to attempt this and you dont know how to take off the front of the fairing, go get the service manual
Here's the thing Dave, you've got a twenty thousand dollar motorcycle, why not make it $20,060. Buy a service manual buddy. It's the best money you'll ever spend. You could probably remove the outer fairing with help from the forum, but the inner fairing, although it's not hard it is quite involved. The manual will show you that it is not one big job, but something like 40 small jobs. Step by step, simple yet not something you should attempt without a manual.
And make sure your tool kit has a t27 torx driver.
The inner fairing screws are t27, the switch housing screws are t25, the brake and clutch basket screws are t 27, and use a torque wrench and blue lock tite when reinstalling. The screws are steel and the housings are aluminum, so over torquing the screws willstrip the holes not the screws. Good way to ruin your day.
