Much to my wife's distress I have a small closet full of different windshields, but only one stays on the bike full time a 12' Cee Bailey SSC, IMHO the only way to go. Next week I will be picking up a new08 Ultra Classicand that is the only part I will take with me for the new bike

Thanks, guys I appreciate all the info. Hard decision to make now, unlike most of you I do look Thur the windshield when riding, mine is stock and comes above eye sight now. Never thought much about looking over it either, what about when it's raining are you able to see looking over it or do you duck down & look Thur? Sorry for the question just don't know. I don't get much head buffeting now so it's not a problem, have the fork baffle and love it, what little head baffling I had it took away. I'm 5'-9" so I don't need one as tall as some either. I do like the looks of the SSC and the fact that it would help smooth the air flow on me and my better half, I can ride now with a cap and no problems, mostly ride the a helmet but there are time I feel like living dangerously. I still like the option of seeing thru the windshield even if I don't look thru to drive, guess I think about it for a while and hope I can find someone with one so I can see how it feels not being able to see whats right in front of you. Thanks, I appreciate any and all info, that's what I like about this forum some many people willing to help others.

Default Windvest and CB SSC

I to have tried a clearview for my old fatboy, it helped but had to look through it inorder for it to be effective. It was huge! 23 inches. I now have an 09 ultra. And a 10 inch windvest, windvest comes with a very aggressive curve but that as tall as they come. If it were another inch or 2 it would probably be the answer. I think I going to order a CB SSC and see what happens. The windvest is the best I have tried to date but still some to be desired. Cant wear a helmet comfortably with it on the interstate…
