I added the V&H dresser duals about a month ago and really noticed a drop in the Heat on the right side. The heat on my bike was one of thing I really wanted to get rid of. I like the new sound that my bike . I am running it with only the S/E stage 1 upgrade. I have a little bit of decel pop but I can live with that. The shop that put on my duals said that V&H Fuel Pack would work great. The next person I talked to said that the Power Commander would work better. I am still not sure which fuel management system to go with.
Jeff
Jeff, JMHO, but if I could get a Fuel Pak for my bike, I'd get rid of my PCIII. I've had problems with the PCIII on my bike and am on my third, but it seems to work fine now. Unless you plan a lot of mods, the Fuel Pak should do you just fine and save some $$$.
Well after riding a while on the dyno tune I am still not happy with the heat. The crossover pipe still glows but I can only see it at night when I put it away in the garage. The dealer told me not to worry about this and that it is somewhat normal. WTF! I don't buy that one bit. I did go ahead and order the true duals and am going to try that with a new map. If the pipe on the new pipe is to hot I will order the new powercommander so I can tune individual cylinders which I believe is what I am going to end up having to do. I did upgrade to the biketronics stereo with the ipod hook up so I am looking forward to getting that and installing.
