Default Antenna booster hookup...

First off...I'm a noob...and I searched already but wasn't successful finding some&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;specific instructions and&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;pics...forgive me if it's already here...
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I was given an AM/FM antenna signal booster.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; It has a female receptacle for the OEM antenna wire, an antenna wire to go to the radio and a green wire with a female spade type terminal on the end.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
My question is...which wire should I hook up the green wire to inside the fairing...I want it to be switched 12v, but I am unsure...high rez pics and idiot proof instructions would be greatly appreciated!!!
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I want to mount it inside the fairing to boost the signal of the new rubber antenna I mounted behind my saddlebag filler strips...

Need more information. Green is normally ground, as DKSS07 said, however, in 12 volt audio, green can sometimes be switchable power, the antenna should ground itself. I tried to look up generic power boosters on the web, with no luck. I had a booster in a 1968 Dodge Charger, and I remember the instructions saying green is power, switched on, so it doesn't eat up the battery. For antennas the green might go to the radio power switch so it raises the antenna. You need to do a little research.

OK, cool.&nbsp\\; Sounds like I am humping up the correct legs...Is there&nbsp\\;an unused,&nbsp\\;switched +12v lead inside the fairing?&nbsp\\; If so, I will have a go at it tomorrow and post pics...I am hoping this is a cheap *** alternative to the ugly antenna issues...

Alright, then you need to find the aux switch. It goes to a cigarette lighter on my bike.
