Motor City HD in Farmington Hills, MI gives a 10% discount at the parts counter for ALL M/C members wearing a patch/colors. Also all HOG members. Biker Bob's in Taylor, MI does not. If I'm spending alot, it's worth the trip to Motor City. If I'm just doing an oil change or getting some spark plugs, I go to Biker Boob's. As for discounts to military, shriners, fire fighters, police, etc., I don't know.
Thinking about this a little more...what the hell kind of dealer won't do 10% off a friggin over priced t-shirt that is marked up 200% for our nations finest? I guess the stealer thinks because he is so close he has a lock on all the USMC business. I would not hesitate to spread the word accross the base and take my business elsewhere.
I serve my country and am willing to die for the freedom we all share...money? Please...no one joins the Profession of Arms for money. \\; They do it so dip-***** can enjoy the freedom of talking out of their asses, because in America, even the biggest ******* has that right. \\; I am willing to die so idiots can protest my brothers funerals and talk **** about things they know nothing about.
"...to protect and defend the Constitution..."
Love of country is why I chose to serve, love of my brothers is why I have remained. \\; One year to retirement...will be a total of 25 years of service...I've never asked for any special treatment due to my Profession, yes it's nice when it's there, but not expected. \\;
