Ive been wanting to have my inner fairing on my Roadglide painted to match the bike, but was thinking of other alternatives that may look as good or better. I thought that a hydrographic application my be a nice look. You could use carbon fiber or a diamond plate for an interesting and different look. I talked with a guy in the buisness and he said that an inner fairing on my bike would run about $500 to $600 to have painted, so the price is comparable to paint. He also stated that the same prep work has to be done in order to apply the graphic. Heres the web site. Any opinions to this idea?
I really want to get mine done up in carbon fiber weave.
I saw this on American Chopper when they did the off road (enduro?) bike for Gander Mountain. Mikey dipped his hand in the stuff and it coated it perfectly! Dang now come thing else to spend my money on!

You can buy that finished from harley probably just as cheap unless you paint and have the time.
Harley does not do carbon fiber, diamond plate, camo or wood.
Took mine off, gave the body shop $100. to do inner fairing, instrument bezels, and a couple of other small pieces, then reinstalled. HD can't match that price.
Man, I don't know if it would look incredibly cool or cheesy. I really like the idea of a marble pattern on my black SG, but would be afraid that it would look to busy or cheesy. Other than the OCC bike, has anybody seen this done to an inner fairing?
