at about 145 miles the light goes on. That usually means 1 gallon left. Since my bike seems to like a certain gas (so does my wallet), i'll fill anywhere from 120-145. This is in mixed commute riding. We'll see how she does in longer rides in a couple of weeks. She does seem to be improving, tho. When brand new and stock she was only getting 35mpg.
Logging every fill-up, the average MPG on my 2006 RK Classic with a Stage II and 12,000 mile is 40.57. Riding conditions cause a huge variation in actual mileage from 33 to 50 mpg. Therefore I try not to push it beyond about 150 miles between fill-ups. I have put 4.5 gallons of gas in it without the low fuel light coming on, so I really do not trust it.
I get anywhere from 31 to 37 MPG depending on conditions. I'm running with stage 1, SERT and dyno tune. I think I am running too rich. I may have made the mistake of mentioning to the tuner that I wanted the bike to run cooler. He may have went overboard with the A/F ratio.
Your probably just running rich now. Put it on a dyno and get a good tune out of it.....
Better to have the PCIII and run rich, then have nothing and run lean, hot and cranky...

Well i can tell you this about the 07 SG. Before i did anything to my engine i was getting 190-200 pr tank. I put a big sucker, reinhartstrue duals & PCIII so now im getting 159-170. WONDER WHAT HAPPEN THERE !
Called my Harley shop up and heres what they told me. Unhook the 02 cencer for power. Hook it up for econamy.
To be honest i really couldnt tell if i got any more power just good sounding pipes. The biker runs good but i really didnt feel any power improvement from just highway running so what did i acomplish with this PCIII again ?
