I have the smoke recurve. Love it. Easy install and you can use RainX on it without screwing it up. I'm 6'1 and the standard recurve doesn't allow the airflow to hammer my head at 80 mph. My only complain was having to wait 5 weeks to get it.
iam 6'6'' had to go with the xlg clearview which i think is great... i tried the 14'' clearview first and it was worst than the stock H.D. shield ..put all the air in my face, couldnt keep my glasses on or hear the stereo..so chose the right height for you...may not look the best but will work ,getting the wind out of your face
Here's the stock height Clearview with recurve on my '08 Road Glide. The new cutaways on the sides allow the shield to clear the mirrors and give it a more sporty appearance than previous versions. I am 5'10" and this height is just about right for me. The recurve doesn't create a totally quiet cockpit, but does seem to direct the air up and over the helmet a bit. I still get a little buffeting with my full-face helmet, but it's acceptable. The Clearview is of excellent quality, and ships with new wellnuts and screws. It's an excellent alternative to the stock windshield.
my 8inch with recurve will be here on the 5th, in 2 days.. (ya clearview)
ill follow up with how I like it.. am sure it will be better than the 4inch stock SG one
also said if I keep the plastic on the shield and I don't put too many bug splats on it(heh),
if I dont like it, or needs to be bigger or smaller they will do an exchange at no cost
