Default need accessory wiring help

I just returned from the dealer and have to go to somebody who may know something. All I got was a deer in the headlight look and a I don't know. I have a 2006 Ultra and they installed the lighted spoilers on delivery. I went to install the saddlebag lights on the rails and it says to use the acc wiring in front of the battery. I don't see a open line anywhere. I asked them if there was anyway they used it for the spoilers, wouldn't have thought so but where else did it go. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. They said could do it different ways, some bikes are different ... BS
You guys have never let me down, cost me alot of money but never let me down.
Appreciate any advice

Duane

Look in your owners manual for the accessory plug under the seat. Better yet, if you don't have a service manual, it's an investment that will pay for its self the first time you use it.

ON my 05 it was nested down in the frame between the battery and the tank. It is a four pin connector and it had a black cap plugged into the end of it. The cap has a keeper on it so it will hang onto the cable when you remove it to access the plug. See if you have a junction plug in that area with the black cap hanging on the cable. If you find it the dealer may have used the plug. I have a heated seat plugged into mine.

That square-ish 4 wire plug everyone is referring to is the power source you want. You will need to look to find it. It is tucked in tight. The black is ground. the others are... Orange = switched hot, acc switch. Orange red = ignition switched hot. Switched hot, lighting.

You will need to purchase the two gang adaptor connector. From there you can cut and splice to your hearts desires. Use ny-ties to secure the extra bulk and prevent rattling or worst case, shakes the connections you just did loose. I recommend twist, solder and shrink tubing.

There is also a one wire flat blade connector under there as well. That one is battery voltage.

OOps! I just re-read my post on the wire color coding. left out the color of the 4th wire. Orange yellow = switched hot, lighting and brakes.

I stand corrected in my othopedic shoes.
