There are alot people on this site and many other sites that say to strip the Ultra Classic to look like the Street Glide if trying to decide between the two bikes. Does anyone have any pics of this mod done to the UC? Thanks
GET THE UC!!!!!!!!! I have street glide, and have added lowers, and a tour pack...(it's best/cheaper to have and not need, than have to buy later)...The only reason I didnt get an UC in the first palce was becasue i didnt like any of the color, nor do I like two tones, or pinstripes...........
So, now I have a very nice Ultra Street Glide...........
Also remember, which ever you decide, you will always want to add more......when I got my SG I knew I needed nothing else for my bike......now I also have new rims, new seat, all chrome, new pipes, etc.......
WHEN WILL IT END???????????????/////////

Check my sig pic & my albums. I have 08 Ultra with detachable tour pack & solo seat. Works great for me !!! Easy on and off. All you do is unhook the wires and roll them up under your seat.
Keep in mind that it is far cheaper to strip down a bike than it is to add on the desired touring accessories
Yeah, obviously you took the cheap route on your scooter!! LOL
I agree with NavyPT on the price thing, but I actually went the same way that Rodman813 did for pretty much the same reasons. Not a big fan of the UC colors or pinstripes. Either direction you go, you will be happy, so pull the trigger and ride. A lot!!
