Default cruise control module

I installed some new apes on the bike and now the cruise control doesnt work, my right blinker is intermittent too which leads me to believe there is a pinched wire or the switches are fouled. I spilled a little brake fluid on the cover when filling it up. So today I took it to an indy to get it checked out and he said my cruise module is broke but he cant test it, it can only be done at the stealer. Can anyone back this up? I have a feeling its just the switch but am unsure of how to really clean the contacts. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Best guess I have would be a pinched wire. Same thing happened to me. Some features on the left side worked, but the horn and cruise didn't. Don't see how brake fluid could hose you up since the switches are supposed to be sealed. If they were moisture sensitive, we would never be able to get caught in the rain.... But what do I know...

makes perfect sense, thats prolly why I couldnt get to them. Ill be damned though if Im taking those wires out of the handle bars, they were a real pain to get in there. I may just have to deal with it

Lol. I thought the same thing until my headlight started flashing on and off on a rough road. Not saying it will happen to you. I used one of the NAMZ wiring kits and the "factory style" ends they put on the wires were very thin and most of them broke. Wound up pulling all the wires and just soldering them. Should have done that the first time. Good luck!

i bought an el cheapo wiring harness kit, I soldered the factory ends onto these wires. they werent oem colors so i had to make my own schematic. It was a real pain in the nutz. I wont be doing that again anytime soon.
