I have just over 100 miles on her.. I am happy with everything except the exhaust.. I have Thunder Header slip-ons, SE A/C, and a tuner. It has a great deep sound, but in my opinion it could be louder... Is there anything I could do to make it louder??? I do plan on doing some sort of engine work in the future but I am unsure of what to do at this time... Thank you for all of the future replies!!
had the same experience with the Thunderheader s/o I had on my old FLHR. Was happy with it at first but wished it was louder later on. Not sure if you can do anything to make it louder except to swap it out for another set up.

I follow suit behind Ikro in his post above. I don't know about the slip ons but I know that the Thundrheader 2 into 1 is about the loudest exhaust out there.
I ran it for years and years on a number of different bikes however, I'm older now and need something just a tad bit quieter.
But no matter what exhaust you have, if you're getting cams, tuner, high flow air cleaner (even without headwork) it's going to change the sound of your bike considerably. You might want to save your money for the motor work.....get that done first then decide if you like the exhaust or not.
I have a couple of friends running the Thuderheader slip ons (with the dummy left side) on 05 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide (103" motor) and they sound really, really nice......just to loud for me.
whats the deal with going "louder" don't you want performance from an exhaust? I found in my 20+ years of working on my bikes that the two are not the same...Stay with what performs and ride your bike like your gettin paid to log miles..
