so, I bought my 06 SE Ultra on Sunday and had the shop disasemble her, she's now being custom painted. Probally 6-8 weeks before she is put together again.
Can I ask what you are having painted. Did you not like the color scheme you bought? I thought the custom SE paint is part of the high cost. I won't say you are an idiot, I am just confused.
Wow, I wish I had your problem! More money than brains. I'm sure it will be a great looking ride when its finished. I just hope your not making it "pretty". While its down have them pull the heads and get them ported to unlock the potential of that 103.
On the paint, clean and classic. Candy Red w/ fade to Black, ghost S.E. graphics.
Engine work will wait until warranty expires.
You gotta love your bike colors, if your gonna sit in the garage, with a cold one while waxing her.
When you walk buy your ride, she needs to make you smile...........
lets see - you couldn't wait to even ride it, so you have it custom painted - Now you say you are going to wait 2 years before you do any engine work??? Would you like to bet on that??? LOL... just giving you a bad time - just don't see you waiting two years
It makes a big difference when the bike has a paint job you love. We painted the ol ladys bike twice. When stock it was a nice looking bike but wasn't anything special. Then we had it painted a year ago. It stood out more but still wasn't right. Now with this last paint job it really stands out from the same model and looks awesome going down the road. My ultra with the sunglo blue used to look so much better beside it but now looks old and pale. I am thinking of painting it the same color as hers now. It is the truest and best blue I have even seen.
