09 EGC, No Rsp for ECM Diag, excess vibration, ideas?
Took a ride yesterday, about 100 mi two up, then about 20mi by myself. Toward the end I started feeling a lot of vibration in the bars and pegs, goes away with clutch in. Looked things over when I got home, nothing obvious. Didn't have a lot of time, but decided to check the Speedo Diags. I'm getting 'no rsp' from the ECM. No check engine or anything like that. I figure if the ECM was actually dead the bike wouldn't run right?
To check my logic here, I check by holding the speedo reset in and turning on the key. I get the WOW needle sweeps etc. Diag appears, I press odo reset. I get PSSPtb with P flashing. I hold reset for a few seconds, then screen goes blank, then I get No Rsp after a few more seconds. The first P is the ECM right?
Everything else comes back with none.
I'm going to check torque on motor mounts and such, but any other ideas would be helpful. I reconnected ECM to make sure that wasn't it, didn't help.
Bike has been running great, 5300 miles or so in about two months.
