Anyone using the Road Zeppelin leather seat? Is it worh the $$$$. I am a big guy 280lbs+/-. The stock seat is not good for me. I tried a Mustang, but it still is lacking on 400 or 500 mile days. Is the seat self contained or do you have to mount a compressor somewhere? All information welcome. I used Corbin on my previous bike, but the wife didn't like it.
well worth the $. got ours from chicagoharley.com and saved 20%, but it took 2 weeks and customer service was only so so. try zanotti's, they also give 20% off.
as for comfort, you can not beat it. air bladders make for easy firming and softening of the seat. it is a wider seat and gives you more all around comfort it the saddle. it will raise you up about an inch with air in the seat. the hook up is real easy, just plug it into the holder under the seat and turn on the acc switch. the compressor will fill with air and you can adjust the bladders to your liking. comes with a can of leather dressing also.
Anyone have the RZ with buttons. I wonder why it's 100 less. Seems better looking but I's guess the buttons pull out after a while and it may noy be a comfortable as the smooth one.
Also, is it necessart to buy the driver and passenger backrests or do the stock ones look alright?
