Default how to remove volume, cruise buttons?

I bought chrome switch housings and was wondering how do you remove the volume and cruise buttons? Do you just pull them off and slide them back on?

I just did mine this weekend, the white plastic "fork" looking deal that comes with the switch covers makes pulling these easy without putting much pressure on the switches. I managed to get ALL of mine on without breaking a cover but I can see why so many guys say to go ahead and buy two sets before you start, I guess I was lucky.

If you buy new switch caps they come with a tool for removal. It is just a two pronged plastic fork that slides between the switch cap and switch housing and wedges the cap off.

Default Be carefull!!!

It's very easy to break the turn signal cap covers. Be very carefull and read the instructions. And... yes, you might want to buy two kits.

Because they are so easy to break putting on.....

Be careful putting the turn signal buttons back in, those are easy to scratch up....
