HD QD sissy bar !$*@

Hi --New member here. Been reading for some time tho. Bought an 06 FLHTI on Sat. When I got home, I started the install of the docking hardware. I have no clue. Instructions will be used to wipe my ***. Anyone have any pics of it installed? Any tips as well. Thanks alot.

as you have found... this is anything but an easy job... When I tried... I got as far as I could then paid my shop 1/2 hour to find tune... it was a bitch.... hope you can find someone to help out...

Your right about the instructions. Infact I'm not sure they'll even make good *** wipeing material. When your done, go to the harley shop and find a bike that already has the install and stare at it, then go home and do it. It's acsually easy. You'd probably have it done if you did'nt have the piece of $hit instructions messing you up. They suck! Big time! Make sure you use the little spacers on the back!!
I did'nt and have marks on my leather saddle bag lids from hitting just slightly on the sissy bar when open.

Tell us something we don't know. I put one on the Road King Custom I use to have and like has been said once you figure it out there ain't to much to it. I saw one at a shop and figured out what goes where. Another piece of paper thats wrote by somebody thats never done it they probably have somebody wipe there ***.

[:-]Don't start it unless you got a half a day with nothing to do (LIKE A RAINY DAY) A buddy is a plus ,I didn't have one could of used one to help hold the fender on my FLHTI . Take your time or take it to a shop. Its not a hard job just a pain made worse with poor instructions! I did mine about to years ago . You can do it just take your time!
