Yes i have tried that and the problem still existed but i am back to stock and it runs fine. i just was asking around see if this was an issuse with anyone else
I had an issue with my PCV after having it for about 6 months. Just like you, my bike would run fine when I removed the PCV. I spoke with Jamie at Fuel Moto. He sent me another PCV and put my first one on his personal bike. I still had problems and my first PCV worked fine on Jamie's bike. It took a couple of tries, but Jamie figured out what the problem was. It turned out to be a very minor pin connectivity issue at the ECN connection.
Jamie's job was a little harder because when I installed the second PCV, I apparently bent two pins in the plug at the ECM. Look at all the pins to make sure they are straight and evenly spaced.
Either way, if you are working with Fuel Moto, you are working with the best. They will take care of your problem. Mine runs very, very well now.
He never did say where the unit was purchased. Apparently it wasn't Fuel Moto. Where ever He got it the customer service must not be to great or they would have found the problem by now. The PC5 is a very reliable unit and with the mods He has he shouldn't need the auto tune however it would nice to have.
