I wired my HD crash bar fog lamps to the switch. Used a relay, 15AMP fuse, and made my own deutsch connector. Found the procedure in the lighting electrical section.

Default Acc goes off when brakes applied??

I'm sure the correct answer is... "I did something wrong," but i hooked up a couple leds to the acc switch on my 2012 flhx. Whenever i apply the brakes, the lights go out. Any ideas??? Thanks!

You have your ground (negative) hooked to the wrong wire. The accessory plug under the seat has 4 wires.

Black - batt neg
orange/red - on with ignition
Red/yellow - brake
Orange - acc switch

Make sure your negative lead goes to the black wire or ground it to the battery -
