Glad to see the builds are starting to come together. Bet the results will be great !!!
I already had a lot of the necessary parts so mine is not necessarilly a good one to compare against. Additionally, there are numerous "options" when doing such a build.
As guesses / estimates go, I'd say somewhere in the 4~6k range. It is worth noting that the price of something like a 113, 117, 120, 124 can all be about the same because they all require similar components & machine work.
Hope that helps..... At least a little.
Oh, and did i tell you.......My bike's being tuned now. Something slapped me in the face the other day. I have one of the best EFI tuners around working on my carb'd bike. Why not go Efi.....I outgrew the Mik hsr48 and dont want to buy another carb for a grand+...So I am doing the first ever(i think) carb to delphi EFi connversion!!!

I will keep ya posted on the ZillaTrapp. I was talking with the guy that bought my original muffler (in the previous pic) & he has it and is no longer using it. You could probably get it fairly cheap....
If all goes well this week, I "hope" to be firin it up next weekend, but there's a greater than zero chance that some of the festivities this week in Daytona will garner my attention.....
I've got yesterdays pics to post & should make a little more progress tonight.
BTW- what are ya gonna go with for a TB? HPI 58 max flow or perhaps a 62? Do those heads have 1.800 intake ports?

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Yep, it was me, call it a Superzilla! Worked pretty good and really cut the noise down. Worked pretty good on the 120 but what Phil is building now will really flow much more air so not sure how it would work on his build.
Rocker box in place, with alignment pins "centering" the box on the head before torquing to spec. Also, notice the clearance between the top of the spring retainer & the rocker box. This is something to check & usually needs some additional breathing room.

New rocker support plates.

New Baisley "Corrected Geometry" roller rockers. These are really nice!

May as well use new shafts with the new rockers & support plates…

Here are the front rockers installed into the support plate ready for install in their new home. Be sure to lube up the new bushings, shafts, rollers, & pushrod cups…

Don't overlook the o-ring between the rocker box & support plates...

Here they are in installed in the rocker box.

This is something I've poo-poo'd in the past, but got them on TR's recommendation. These things are pretty sweet too. The do change plumbing & way the oil separator circuit works.

Here's the box, ready for rocker covers.

That's all for now.....

i don't need an exact amount just a round about figure.Though i am a little surprised at the estimated amount you said for somone that will do it themselfves.I know one day i called my local dealer and they said to me around $12,000 and on top of that they told me i would have to convert to a carburator which totally confrused me,maybe you can tell why they would suggest i would have to do this because once they said that to me i just got off the phone.
