Bought the SERG headlight bezel a few months ago. Tried to install it but no go. Figured I had to adjust the headlights to get it to fit. Not having the right socket I figured I would wait until I removed the outer fairing so I could adjust the headlights easier. Well I was just tinkering with it and backed each adjuster out a full 5 turns but it still won't go. I did have the headlights adjusted but the dealer BTW. So how for out to I have to back these adjusters to get it to fit. And how far out of whack will my headlights be. Not willing to give up alot of light on the road at night just to install this thing.
The threads on the adjusters are very fine so you probably haven't moved them that far, I'd keep track of how many turns you're making & just keep going till it fits, I would think that once you have the bezel in place that you could readjust the lights back to where they were, if not I'd say you have a problem. Hopefully someone who's done this mod can chime in & give you some help.
i ajusted mine back and fit just fine.dont remember how far i back them off.i do recall that it was a pain to get it to fit just wright and ajust the head light.it was one of the tabs that gave me a problem.once i got it just so then it just went together.
I tried to put mine on last week. Wouldn't fit. Tried again and again. Wouldn't fit. The wiring harness behind the headlights were all bunched up behind the left light (as you are looking at it from the front). This was making my headlights push way to the right. I loosened the zip tie and moved some big connectors out of the way and put my headlights back in and it popped right in. My headlights were pushed way to the right. So much that I had gouges in my clear bubble. Once I moved the wiring out of the way, everything fit a whole lot better.

So does it allow proper adjustment of the headlight when installed ???
Yes it was not an issue for mine. But I will tell you that without the plastic bubble on the front, I felt it compromised the lighting, just my opinion though.
