Thanks guys. You can call it being a stand up guy or begging however you see it thats fine with me. But here is the real way I see it. If its not good enough for mine how can it be good enough for yours. Just my take on every part I get involed with.
The guy offers to make it right, but there is one pighead who maybe made a poor choice of materials or not, and now wants everyone else to believe he dealt with a bad company? I think not.

I hope OP sleeps on the offer and gives MushOKC a call to discuss then decide if the offer is on the up & up. There are bad companies and good ones........but I believe most have good and bad people within a company.
Sounds like one of the good ones is reaching out to keep his company on-track. While it appears Jet Hot has some serious house cleaning to look into I would have to vote (I know, only OP's vote counts!) to give Mush a chance at making it right.
Agreed - I would give Mush a chance to make it right too. The Company does appear to have a snafu in how it quotes prices and then comes back with a higher amount. The quote from sales should be what they honor.
I have not read the whole thread, but was quoted alot of money by Jet Hot to do my new Fuelmoto headers + shipping. No, I'm not John Force and do not get my headers coated for free or at a huge discout. Jet Hot did a set of stainless SLP headers for my 93 Corvette in Sterling several years ago and they still look like new. I had a local powdercoater ceramic coat my set from Fuelmoto at 1/3 the price with a lifetime warranty. That being said, I would give this gentleman a chance to make it right as he has offered.
I had a well known chromer ruin a set of "obsolete" 1993 triple trees. Not only did he replace them with new parts, but plated and shipped them for free. Give the man a chance to fix your problem.

I've used their coatings on headers before as well and liked the outcome. I did find that the "sterling" coating is dull if not in direct sunlight so putting the shields over it might be a factor.
I would most certainly take Mush up on the offer. Too nice of a gesture to let it go. What would hurt?
Hope OP gets this resolved w/JH...I had previous exhaust ceramic coated at a local shop in NE (Moore Powercoating) and was extremely pleased w/their quality. Now they also didn't offer a true gloss black, but ended up w/satin which met my goal. Coater did say the ceramic was susceptible to scratching so I used loads of masking tape during install - no blemishes & pipes held up well.
