I have an 06 Ultra completly stock. at start up if the bike is not 100% warmed up it coughs are may even stall when I start to let the clutch out in first gear. The dealer tells me thats the way it is due to the lean setting Which they can not change. So will a PC111 or a SERT solve the problem and if so will anything else need changing (additional parts A/C or pipes, I hope not)? Do I have the dealer install the PC111 or SERT?
IF you get a PC3 it will cost you $500, and do it yourself.
if you get a SERT,
it cost $500 and $320 to have the dealer install it,
and Mibe still coughs when cold.
SO I HAD to do my OWN SERT install, to fix the Cold Engine Coughing!

500.00? no way, they are only 369.00 msrp form dynojet and
only 249.00- 269.00 everyday on ebay, free downloads for many applications on dynojet web site. but if its not right I would have the dealer fix it under warranty.
I went through this problem with my bone stock 06 ultra, and with the new E C M updates it helped a little, then I had the High Flow filter kit& reprogram ,It runs a lot better. Mine would cough and backfire when it was hot or cold. try that when you are going around a corner from a stop!!!!!! After the first day of having it done it has not offered to do it again. It seems like it picked up another 20 HP. It sure sounds a lot different.
