Feel for ya man.....I dropped mine in a Wendy's parking lot trying to make a tight turn parking....didn't hurt anything but my pride. There was no way at that speed and that weight I was holding up the bike (no matter how long I tried). Best thing to do is if you think you're questioning the turn or backing up...have the passenger get off.
Dont sweat it, I droped mine with my wife on and in front about a hundred people at a restaurant, trying to back out of a parking space...... then it didnt want to start.....face was pretty red for awhile
If possible, I always back out of the parking spot solo and once straightened up my wife climbs on.

Yup I got the wife trained for that too. I try to get the bike in the best possible position for her to hop on and all I gotta do is take off in a straight line as often as I can.
Left the resturant, mounted up with the wife, flipped up the kick stand and then she wanted something out of the saddlebag and I leaned the bike back on the kick stand ..................
