Dropped the Ultra while making a U-turn on a gravel (more like 1 1/2 in rock) road with both me and my wife on board. Felt so stupid, should've made her get off before I attempted such a tight turn on such a narrow road. Bike was not scratched and neither was my wife, I got out with a pretty good burn on my calf from the pipes and a pretty large bruise in my ego. On top of that we went to a local watering hole and everyone was checking out the bike and when we went to leave it wouldn't start, nothing, had to take the seat off and reconnect the pcv. I had forgotten to "lock" the connector back after doing some adjustments. I think I'll just stay home the rest of the evening.
Glad to hear only your pride was scraped. I almost did the same thing with my daughter on back. Learned from that one, no problem now asking either the wife or daughter to step off for a second for their safety.
Don't sweat it man, it happens. Every person I know with an Ultra has dropped their's at least once. Those things are pretty top heavy and it doesn't take much to get it past the point of no return, add a passenger and it really wants to lie down and take a nap. It'll be your bruised ego that takes the longest to heal.

Dont sweat it, I droped mine with my wife on and in front about a hundred people at a restaurant, trying to back out of a parking space...... then it didnt want to start.....face was pretty red for awhile
Did it last week in front of some riding buds. Came to a turning stop too fast and I went to put my feet down to back the bike into the parking spot and the momentum took me down. Didn't get hurt and the bike is fine. The funny part was my brother was right behind me laughing because he caught it on video with the camera he had mounted on the bars. He told me it was going on the forum right away. Come to find out he ran out of memory just seconds before the act. He has video of me pulling in but not setting the bike down. I was relieved and he was downright disappointed. It would have taken a while to live that one down.
