I have a 2011 EGC with Zumo 665 and NIM. Finally got it all to work together, except....if I am listening through the AUX and change to AM/FM/WB, occasionally the AUX will override the AM/FM/WB. Makes no sense that the Aux should override the other channels.
I also have a B2021 error...I suspect that is because I have the headset/intercom harness installed without the rear speakers...do not have rear speakers.
I burned the CD as the instructions said. Checked the CD for the files - Okay.
Hit the soft keys, turned ignition switch to Access, pushed the update button, inserted the CD.
It said it was updating it (...verifying DSP image). Sat there for about 30 minutes running, no change.
Radio didn't turn off/on as the instructions said it would.
Turned it off, turned it on ejected the CD.
Everything works fine.
Check to see if the software was updated - Not Done, still has the old software.
Everything still works fine however.
I got a set of Rockford Fosgate P1S652 4 ohm speakers that I want to install on my '09 FLHX with the stock radio. My question is, will this work? I heard that you either have to use 2 or 8 ohm with a stock stereo but then I was also told that I can install these because the stock radio has a amp already built in. Which is correct?
Thanks,
Ryan
Thanks-good info./posts. I am sending my B2017 Code prob on my unit from a 2007 SG to Iron Cross Audio for repair now. Tony there is a good help and expleins things etc. Looks like mine has a bad audio board from too much fairing vibration. No sound/volume at all...everything else works. SUCKS!
Mine's showing B2018 Says Front Left Shorted to Ground. I replaced it with new hog tunes, and checked the ground. Could it be the head unit? Or am I missing something?

The fairing vibration is BS. I mean, c'mon, we all know these bikes vibrate. When I sent my radio into Iron Cross for repairs (great job they did by the way) there was a little sticker on my radio telling me to ensure everything's installed tightly as excessive vibration was probbably the cause of the initial failure to begin with. Crazy. These are Harleys, they vibrate. What more can be done to isloate the radio unit from the vibration of the bike?
