Please help
Hello all, I realize I am brand new here and already begging for help but it would be greatly appreciated. My 06 Ultra HK radio is displaying error code B2006 after I do the diao check on it. The volume adjust works just fine but when I push in the Audio button in I cant get my bass, treb, fade......settings to display. Does anyone have any idea what I can try to fix the problem?

I'm not a tech, but there seem to be very few issues with the HK system that can be fixed w/o replacing parts. If your bike has seen a fair amount of use, I'd suspect the switch is bad which seems to be what your code is saying. You should also check-out the wires exiting the switch housing for a pinched wire. If you have the service manual, you can identify the wire colors for the audio switch--the insulation is very thin and easily cut to create a short from the wire to the housing.

I have not been able to diagnose an issue with the radio on my '09 Ultra Classic. As far as I can see, it is not covered in this thread.
After the Ultra Classic sits for various length of time. Sometimes only after one day, the radio defaults to channel 1 when the ignition is turned on. The preset buttons are still set when this happens and channel 1 is not one of the preset channels.
It's one of those issues that the dealer can not reproduce.

There are alot of variables between harnesses and the radio. Best bet would be to contact Iron Cross Audio and have them walk you through it

The file needs to be copied on a CD to use in your radio. Dont use a DVD
