Cruising down the freeway listening to cd's for several hours and then the cd stops and the only display is see on the deck was an "M5" "MB" or something like that. When i came to a stop i ejected the cd and slid it back in with no results. Started pushing a bunch of buttons and the cd display came back on and playing but went back to the "M" display. Any clue or answers to this? Its a new bike with an OEM radio. I couldnt even get the deck to go to the radio channels.
I'm still soliciting for info on my solidRED display. Even my HD dealer is ignoring my emails. I noticed that my TURN SIGNALS began blinking at 2X their normal rate when the display went bad. -That's almost scarey. Radio and CD still work fine. Suggestions, anyone, please?

You could also use the diagnostic procedure in this thread, and check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)--the procedure is somewhere on HDF, but I haven't bookmarked the thread.
But calling ICA is your best bet provided you have the Harman Kardon head unit HD's been using since '06 model year; '05 and older bikes use a head unit supplied by Radio Sound. You can reach RS customer service at 502.267.6768.

You're welcome. Just copy and paste the parts you want or bookmark this thread; don't know of a print button.
If I have an audio related failure and no code appears after the diagnostic process is finished does that mean the audio problem is outside of the head unit?

No. Just means it's an issue that the processor cannot read. Still can be either in or out of the radio.
