I put on a Clarks Custom 61/2' flat top dark tint on my Street Glide and love the highway ride improvement. I'm 5'8" and do have the Sundowner seat. With this setup I ca easlly look over the windshield and yet the wind turblance was cut way down. No problem hearing the radio and the seat supports me way better that the stock one did. I know it took away from the look a bit but I can cruise all day long in comfort.

I decided to go with the Freedom shield but I got it from FastAire. I had the oppurtunity to speak with Jim the owner of FastAire. Great guy. Wonderful service. He answered all my questions and then some. He is a rider himself who really wants other riders to be happy. If your researching shields guive him a call and pick his brain. Got the shield Monday. Beautiful. Anxious to install it and give it a ride.
Thanks again Jim!
I've just run almost 2500 miles with a new Long Ride Shield 9" curved Ultra on my UltraGlide Ltd. I'm 6'-2" tall on the standard saddle.
The wind still catches the top couple of inches of my helmet, a Schuberth J1, which results in some eyeball wobbles over about 55mph.
Some simple tests with the left hand shows the air to be streaming into the cockpit area from around the area of my kneecaps, and over the top of the screen still.
It's certainly better than the OEM screen, but I'm tempted to try an 11 or 12" recurve.
Screen quality itself is very good, with no fitment issues or flexing in use even at three figure speeds. Just wish the cost of shipping & taxes to import over the pond was cheaper..
