Thanks for the replies. I agree that the lowers and speakers are nice additions. I am finding that if I am willing to drive a few extra miles (75-100) I can get a 2010 Ultra for just a little more than the price of a 2011 Classic- assuming that the new ones don't go up too much.
Was just at my local dealer this last weekend $17,999.00 Plus options for a 2010 Ultra. Nice price but I like my 09 SG.
Traveling on chapter HOG rides - use the CB; Traveling in groups - use the CB; Wanna insult my buddy while we're riding, and he's on his Ultra - use the CB; Want to find out from a trucker why the freeway is jammed up - use the CB.
But then in the old days, I use to order my sub sandwich half way between GFK AFB and town via CB! Fat Alberts had a CB radio inside!
Cool Blue - on the side.
I believe Fat Alberts is closed now. They had moved to another location in a pizza shop but that was empty last time I went by there. Too bad because I loved their subs. I now have to go with the Red Pepper everything grinder.
As far as the CB goes. Deadweight on a bike. I have one in my truck and one in my pickup. Would never want one on my bike.
Never use the CB or intercom but I use an adaptor on the console to listen to the radio and cd's with headphones.
If I had to do it over, I'd still get the Ultra.
