taylor makes great plug wires and i've had good success with them. if your bike is running right though, it'd seem like a waste of money, but it's your money. theakerr, what year is your bike? i looked at the ultima site and their wires are for the older harleys. the current ignition systems seem to be a bit delicate when it comes to changes.

Lots of interesting feedback. My bike is a 2003 FLHTCi with 72,000 km on it, some of this mileage done in pretty hot weather. So based on past experience with other machines, the routing of the wires such that they will experience a fair bit of engine heat and the fact that occasionally in hot weather the bike has been very difficult to start, I decided to replace them (as well as the plugs, which is routine) as PM. The cost was negligible in the scheme of things (I will return the SE wires).
