I don't ride with patches, but I do know if you get creative and add a lower location rocker to your HOG patch, you could generate some interesting discussions in some bars.

I think the fish patch goes on the lower left, with the cross over the heart.

OR ......

The 666 patch on the lower left, with the pitchfork over the heart.

It all depends on what ya believe .........

I have a C-note patch on the lower left, with a $ over my heart.

But, I suspect that the organization which you are being patched by, might have different guidelines for their patch placement.
Best to check with them ........

6 years ago but I believe the back Rocker(prospect) on the bottom with the Big patch on top of that.
Left front chapter below that was for officers rank...And if your an outlaw, confederacy patch above those two.

If not a MC or MG cube, do what you want. Ask your HOG group. Don't put an MC on without proper permission.

I'll give this one another bump!

I spent 22 yrs being told where to sew what patch! Since retirement, I don't take too kindly to being told what to wear or how to wear it!!
Have passed on a couple of 'service organizations' riding clubs because of 'Riding Apparel' rules!!!
If the original poster is worried about the placement of his HOG patches...just ask the 'leader' of his chapter. I'm sure they have written 'guidelines' on 'proper patch placement'!

As a veteran & a former m/c patch holder I don't wear vests.
#1 because I don't care about looking like everbody else.
#2 because I'm not real good at following certain rules.
#3 because I do this for the enjoyment of the riding & not
how good or proper I look.

My HOG group allows only the main HOG patch in the center and a chapter rocker up top. NO bottom (location) rocker is allowed out of respect to the MC's (at least that is the way it was explained to me during one of my first meetings).
That being said I do have a vest that I may or may not wear when riding with the group according to several factors. I call it my Wednesday go to meeting vest
I do have another vest I prefer to wear according to weather and such and the ony patch on that one, centered on the back, is a spread eagle (American Flag theme) with Live to Ride/Ride to Live at bottom, just not into covering the vest in patches I guess! This vest is nice and thick and is pretty good protection, which is why I choose to wear it, not as a fashion statement!
Info passed on to me over 43 years of riding is that most if not all MC's will view a three patch arrangement as a problem when they see it. How much of a problem and how that might get "explained" to you, if you choose to do so and are not a member, could be a coin flip you might not want to be a part of.
