My dealer just closed up shop and relocated. All part of Harley's consolidating/cost cutting measures. It sucks, but I'm not surprised to hear repairs, parts, etc are taking a lot longer than promised.

Note to self - Take any loaner offered these days. Quick turnaround prolly aint gonna happen.

I bet it's the bearing and race behind the clutch..It only takes a few hours to fix, and I believe there is a TSB on that problem so it might (I say MIGHT) be a freebie.

I've been waiting 18 weeks for Harley to send my dealer a tank, fender and speedometer.

Wow, that is beyond bad service, especially the part with the MoCo saying the new kit was already delivered and the dealer saying they don't know when they will get it (and won't be able to get to it for a week even if it does appear before them). If the service manager doesn't get you satisfaction, take it to the general manager (and then talk to the MoCo again if hasn't been made right after the GM). There is a time to be nice, and a time to turn up the heat. This sounds like the later has arrived...

I've had a loaner for a couple of weeks, an 07 in scary bad need of a bagger brace. All the screws holding the latch to the lid came out of the left bag and it blew off on the interstate one day. Strap held with one screw attached to the lid so I didn't lose it. But it beat the bag to death flapping in the wind. Glad it wasn't mine. LOL

You're not by yourself. I've not been able to ride for 1-1/2 weeks waiting to get my '09 into the dealers with some problems....AGAIN!

It shouldn't just be part of riding. Especially on a bike with only 15k miles on it.
