This is what I have.
Monroe MA785 Max-Air Air Shocks
Viair 92C 12 Volt Air Compressor Kit
used NOS solenoid
Lines are from the shocks and extra from auto parts store
Fittings I got from work (push style)
Universal 12 Volt Remote Control Kit (just for fun)
30amp relay
3 position switch from auto store

So I also have a similar set up done by az sandbaggerz here in phoenix....it is by far the best mod on my bike ..I have 10" of travel...all the way up and I don't feel a bump on the road..get to a show and lower that thing.and it gets alot of attention .....my compressor is in my right bag and my up/ down switch is on the left side of the frame by the seat and my release button is on the right side side cover....I love it...its not only cool looking but also comfortable
oh yeah ..and I have about 1-1/2" of clearance as well from my tire ..and fender/ wiring..on stock 16" white walls and a 1" drop kit.
I will be going with a 2" drop kit and a lower profile tire to get the extended bags on the ground...with bump stop of course...

Absolutely sold on doing this mod! Just wondering if it will work on a '12SG? Will look @ starting this project after the holidays. Starting an install of 12" monkey bars tomorrow. Will be following this thread for any updates.

It'll work on 09s so i'm assuming 12s are the same.
