Anyone try this on a Road King yet. I have abs so behind the panel is out, and with no fairing not sure where I would mount this without taking up space in one of the bags.
Ditto on left side panel. Outlaw did it so it should work for you.
Please excuse my ignorance and help me to understand.I really like the looks of this set up and it appears to be a simple install.I haven't been around here long so i never heard of Draggin Bagger until it was mentioned earlier in this thread.
I searched back alittle and see people that say the system sucks and DB were basiclly scumbags.
Was it the system? Is this system a different set up?Was it the -DB people or company?
Like i said before i like the looks of this simple and affordable system, just seems to be some skeletons and by no way the OP.The system and install looks great.
Thanks
I installed this on my 07 Road king last spring. One of the best mods I have done to date. I bought the compressor with mount from arnott and used the monroe shocks. No clearence problems at all.
I went with Gabriel shocks just because the air bags are covered rather than exposed like the Monroes. You need 2 sets of bushings. Not a fan of plastic valves, look for all brass construction. Cost a little more but much more durable. Don't really like push in air fittings either. Tend to leak after a while where there is a lot of vibration. Truck repair shops will have brass compression fittings that work better. I used a CVO power bag lock switch to control mine. Fits the fairing switch cap and looks factory. If you run an on-board compressor you need an on-off-on type switch. Found my Viair 98C compressor at 4WheelParts.

DB used some cheap components and I hear customer service wasn't great. Shocks are the same as DB used. Something to keep in mind, when the shocks have no air in the lowest position the rear is really a hardtail. No give except the flex in the tire sidewall. I've put about 10k on my setup and have no complaints.

By doin the install quality controll is in your hands. Use the monroe or gabriels, brass fittings and you'll be fine. The Viair compressor is the same as Arnott uses i believe.
DuraG gave some good advise. Looks like you've done your research and found some good parts. Like DG i prefer brass fittings for durability. I use the monroes so I know they work well and have the right amount of travel. The bushing swap isnt necessary for the monroes. Drill out the top eye and sleeve the bottom. CVO trunk switch is a pretty good choice. I used the volume up down for mine and the spot switch as a walk away dump switch
DuraGlide, I have seen your setup. Looks great! Can you take the time to explain how you wired it up? While your at it can you explain how the air hoses are ran. Im just confused on what the silenoid does and if you need a relay, and how you hook the cvo switch up.... and how does the system dump the air. It's just not clicking with me yet without some serious instructions.. Appreciate all your time and feedback,
Clark I will be starting this mod in the next few days. Just received most of the parts. Still trying to figure out the best and set up from the compressor to the distribution block.
I will try and capture everything I do with pics and parts by number.
Coleman has been a huge help with information on identifying parts.
