I got my Gabriels from autozone with a lifetime warranty for $85+ tax
clarkchriston,
A couple of questions if you don't mind. How long/many miles have you had the Gabriel's on your Road King? Any problems with the installation? What sized bushings did you use on the shock mounts?
I have a question. Whats the range of these shocks air pressure wise? I want to put a gauge on this system and need to know what range we're looking at. Air pressure at fully filled?

The Monroe site shows their shocks at 20-150 psi. The Gabriels are in the same pressure range. I don't think I'd want them anywhere near the max though, seems like it would be a pretty stiff ride

I just picked up the shocks and have not installed the system yet. Based on what others have said I think they will be just fine. I ordered bushings on Ebay also based on info from this fourm but they wont be here until Monday.
My install date has been pushed a couple weeks. I was going to go with legend air compressor due to mounting location and ease of install but recently (within the last week) their price has jumped from $215 - $275. Hell they must be subscribed to this thread. I'm going to have to take some time to look at the bike and get creative to find another mounting location or make a bracket. ABS under Left Panel, Fuse box and PCV under right side. I think there may be some room under the right side if I relocate the PCV and install it like OutlawBagger.
Okay, I'm looking all over the place for an air gauge that will match the original set on my 02
electra Glide. I've seen the two links in this thread and looked at both, neither seems as if they'll match perfectly. Am I being too optimistic in thinking that I can get a perfect match? Where can I find the perfect match? It's the perfect match I seek...chrome bezels, black face with the white lettering. Gonna put it in place of the useless air temp gauge..wouldnt it be perfect if you could CONVERT the air temp gauge?...

Dang...got me thinking about it as well...starting to think this forum is gonna cost me plenty...lol
You mean "save you plenty". $200 bucks for an air ride setup that works as good as this one is CHEEEEEEEP! Put about 10K miles on my setup last year and love it. Got a buddy that is copying my setup on his 06 Ultra this winter. And if you don't like it ( like 1 guy out of 100) you can go back to stock shocks and still have an onboard air compressor for flats and such.
