Lol. Gotta love In N Out. I'd do it too, but I think that would be quite a ride with no air in my shocks!

Hmmm. I got all my fittings there. I Took a 3way and converted it to a 4way but everything else they had.

I must have the crappy Ace hardware. I did get the 4 way on eBay and the 1/4" line at lowes, as well as most of my compression fittings. My hang up is getting the 1/4" line to connect to the shocks OR getting fittings to go from the 4 way to the little hard plastic line that came with the shocks. I just got something from an old school hardware store that may work. We shall see!

Probably need 1/4 pipe to 1/8 air line compression fittings. Any heavy truck parts place should have them as most air shifters use the same 1/8 line.

I drilled out the plastic cap on the gaberials just big enough for the 1/4" tubing and used a plastic ferral (spelling) from lowes on the tubing instead of o-rings. worked out great and cost about $.50

So I finally got this installed on my bike. I am having a few issues and was wondering if anyone else has these issues. First issue is when I air up shocks to about 60 pounds my axle nut (or actually the retaining washer) hits my muffler, right about where the factory dent is. I am using the Monroe MA785. I also wonder how big are the factory slip ons? 4". And also if I replace the slip ons to 3.5" will it stop them from hitting?

How has everyone prevented this from happening. Also it seems my air system is losing about 1/2 to 1 pound of air every couple of hours. I have squirted down all my connections with soapy water and cannot find the leak to save my life. I know without an air guage installed you wouldnt see the loss unless several hours have passed, so are alot of these systems leaking a little over time and everyone is not noticing? I am replacing my air compresser from 092C to a 095C because the mounting brackets on the 092c prevent me from mounting it the way I want to. I will post pics after it arrives and I get it installed

This is funny you posted this today because Im having the exact same problem and was coming to post about it. When i pump them up to where they are sitting at 12" between shock bolts so itd be stock hieght then sit on it it sinks to like 9" pump it up while Im on it to 12" again then get off and the shocks rise up to fully extended about 14 1/2" or so and bottom mount hits muffler. think i might just spend the cash and get the air ride shocks meant for our bikes...

I think you guys are kinda nit picking here. At a normal, comfortable ride height, I have never hit the muffler. Yes if I am airing it up with the remote for show and not go then yes I have hit it. Under normal operating conditions I dont think you'll have them aired up that high.

Stock are 3.5". My Rineharts hit when at the very top. As for leaking down mine did at first but I gave everything a snug and it quit. Check your dump valve and make sure its not leaking through.

Thanks coolerman. I pulled the plastic part off the top and squirted down the shaft with windex and found my slow air leak between the brass and the shaft. I have been chasing this for a week now and never thought to check there. I called frightprops and they are gonna send one out first thing monday.
