haha reminded me of the old days; a friend had a Kawa 500 (hottest bike on the road in 1970) and used several drills running overnight (and returned a couple under warranty when they burnt out) to run the odo over 999999 to a more legit number. Guess you can't do that anymore.
if it were easy to change the mileage on our odometers, don't you think that every used bike shop would be erasing thousands of miles to make a bike appear as if it had low mileage? the used car business has been working on the same issue ever since the electronic speedos came out.
I bought a new HD tach / speedo combo from a discounter (M & M I think it was)
Just checked; Blue Gauges will do it for $55.00 including return shipping. It is called Milage Correction. www.bluegauges.com/mileages.htm
No they don't. They don't do Harley Davidson gauges according to their site.

Can't crooks just stick another gauge in with less miles? If that's the case, it is easy. Kind of scary if you think about buying a used bike.
