Their claim to fame (Other than they don't overheat.) is that their controller has a greater voltage difference between flash and non-flash than other controllers making the turn signals more obvious. For example, the H-D controller simulates flashing by changing voltage levels between 80% and 100%. The Badlands controller changes voltage levels between 50% and 100%. I just made those numbers up to explain what I was talking about so don't quote me.
