Had a 95 FLHTCI with SE heads, cammed, 42mm Makuni flatside carb, all Ultima electronic ignition with a D&D Fat Kat. That was one bad bike and super dependable except for the trans. Couldn't hold up to the motor all to well and then when Harley came out with the 09 SG with the new frame and 180 tire I couldn't resist the temptation.

Default An Oldie, but a Goodie

As my 'name' implies, I'm riding an '88 EVO Springer from time to time.
Much modified. 110,000 + miles with only one rebuild.
It'll keep up with any reasonable freeway traffic all day long.

Any Harley properly maintained is as reliable as the next.Been building and riding them since 62,used to carry a tool pouch always wondering, with the rumors surrounding Harleys.Never used the tools for me must be one of the lucky ones.

Had my 1990 from new. It's a trusty old axe with new head and handle, so to speak, but still gets me around. With a little modifying they can show TCs the way home, and if that ain't enough there are after-market engines out there up to 131" that will bolt in. Got an S&S 107 in mine at present, just over 100HP/TQ.
