I have a 07 SG and have the same problem, at 75 80 it very noticeable, blurred vision.. the vibration seems
to radiate thru your spine...

My 06 ultra with the 88 engine had some vibration but nothing like this 96...

also the 96 inch engine is very sensitive to low octaine fuel, some of the stations around are not putting
Premium fuel in those tanks... (I have had two tanks of 89 octaine that were supposed to be Premium)
Bike ran terriable..

I had a 71 SS el camino 454 with 11 to 1 compression ratio.
ran like crap on regular..

This 96 inch engine has a 9.5 compression ratio and it is just logical
it needs 93 or maybe higher octaine.

Any other opinions?

It's a lean condition, along with O2 sensors. They can't change it due to EPA regs.

A power commander USB III with the proper map and disconnected O2 sensor will absolutely solve the problem, even with stock exhaust and air cleaner.

Glacierdude and I both have tried different height wind shields with out any luck. What year is your bike and have you had any of the things we have described?
07 road glide, no vibration except the normal idle when stoped. Try a different helmet or no helmet for a test, Ive went thru several to find one that doesnt give me bobblehead.

Have the dealer check the lower engine mount. We have seen a few failures on the '06's and it may be carrying over to the '07's.

I have an '07 Street Glide It has a very noticable vibration between 22- 2800 rpm in all gears.
Well I guess its my turn, I just took my 07 SG in to be checked out, 1500 miles I just had the 1000 my service done a few weeks ago. Itold my dealer that the vibration was between 2000 and 2800 rpms andthis is the first time I read this post (how weird). Anyway on Saturday while riding the vibration was so bad that my windshield bolts vibrated out, the vibration in my right foot is almost making my foot numb, I ask my wife if she felt any vibration in her pegs and without me saying a word she also confirmed she felt alot of vibration in her right peg also. Now I have to see what the outcome will be or if I may have to shell out $$$ for the IDS. I'lllet everyone know aboutmy results in a few days.

I'm glad you posted this topic,I'm having the very same problem with my 04' electra glide police, same exact rpm range as you! mine vibrates so bad i feel it right through the seat, around 2800-3000 rpm it starts to smooth back out,im sure i'll be told "thats normal" when i head to the dealer to have it checked out

thanks for posting your problem,

If the drive-train alignment is off you will feel an abnormal vibration. Also check your drive-belt tension. This will cause issues with vibrations as well.
