cycle sounds - speakers for road king.

So I just installed some cycle sounds speakers on my 2002 RK and I think they sound great.

I made a custom mount for my Iphone so I can use the gps and listen to Pandora radio.

Next I am going to hook up the 3oow amp to some 6x9s in my dragon fly fairing and see what it can do.

I just would like to know who else is running cycle sound speakers?

Is there anything out there that is better.... I was not impressed with the speakers that harley makes.... not enough power.

My dad and I installed the Dock and Rock on his Softail. He connects his XM radio head to it. It sounds good and fitment was good. He is very happy with it.

I bought a pair a few years ago when the took over for 2-Wheel Tunes. At highway speed they were barely loud enough without distortion. In less than a week and the amp blew. They would do nothing to replace the amp short of buying a new amp from them. Waste of money for me. I went out and bought Rumble Road Ultra speakers. IMO, they were far superior to the Cycle Sounds.

how many watts was the amp

Mine are mounted behind a fairing so I dont have any trouble hearing the music.

I also am planning to add the 6x9's It might be possible to add a pre amp to the mix as well, that would help get rid of any distortion.

I have to check out the rumble road speakers.
