Man, me too! I love mine, and I'm around 5'9", which ain't exactly jockey-sized, and it's a tad taller than I'd like.

I had 07 street glide with a non adjustable backrest ,sold the bike and upgraded to a 2014 street glide kept the backrest off my 07 and installed it on the14 the mount has me pushed to far forward ,I looked at the mounts on Harley site different part number but they look the same except the strap bracket on the front , when mounted on the fender with it in the most rear position its still angled forward .does anyone know the difference in the brackets ? I hate to spend $45 and still have the same issue . I believe I could shim under the front of my bracket and angle it rearward and it would be fine.

mine is the one with the 2 rods you squeeze together not the flat bar , but I think I can chuck them in a vise and bend them back a few degrees
