Will he? I dunno. Maybe. If he's that picky, he might.

Sweet ride, love the look of those pipes

Thanks for the reply but I think you talking about bar mounted mirrors. My mirrors are attached to the inner fairing right beside the speakers. Just sat on the bike and visualized where my hands would sit with apes installed. It looks like 10's would put my hands in a position that blocks the mirrors. 12's seem to put them out of the way. can anybody confirm this?

They are fairing mounted 2010 SG. Took the attached picture this morning sitting on the bike. Hope this helps. Better use of mirrors. IMO

I have the 12" and fairing mounted mirrors and I have to lean back a little and move my elbow to see behind me. It has gotten me in the habit of doing head checks before I make a lane change (good habit). They just took a bit to get use to the adjustment I would have to make for rear views, but I don't have to take my hands off the bars to see. The only natural rear views I could get was from the mirrors on top of the bars, but I didn't care for the rabbit ear look. JMO

Apes for your bagger? Monkey Bagger bars are killer as are the LA Choppers Prime Apes. Prime Apes in stock and ready to ship every day of the week! Bars without the wait! Imagine that. Get your parts for your winter projects early this year so you can be back on the road when the snow melts.

No problem man.

Black bike...I'd say black bars.
But then, yours isn't nearly as blacked-out as mine, so chrome would work just fine as well.
Damn....ok, good question...

Sadly, yes, the 10" do put my hands RIGHT where the mirrors are.
That was my one disappointment.

I got lucky as I had my Tribal Black" mirrors that I kept from my softail when I traded it in, and when I put them on I loved they way they looked.

Thank ya.
When I decided I wanted a SG, I still didn't want to give up the hot-rod "chopper style" like I had on my Night Train.
The pipes help, as so the lowered rear shocks & Yaffe bars.
I've now got the Ness "Flow" low-profile tank dash on order, to get rid of the big fat tub of a hinge-door where the gas cap is. Can't wait.

Thanks guys, Just the kind of info I need to make an informed decision. If and when I decide to to get some new bars, I'll go with 12's.
